Samaya, Ashram in the Bush

Come and stay at Samaya for a few days of fun and celebration, or you can stay longer if you wish.  We are a small community of young people from all over the world, who live in joy and friendship, while connecting with the magical nature in the beautiful hinterland of Byron Bay.

Samaya Ashram is an experimental School For Life open to young men and women who are ready to learn to live their life at the maximum of joy, creativity, sensitivity and awareness with passion and a deep connection to nature. The longer your stay at the Ashram the more mature and prepared you will go back to the material world with new fresh vibrant physical energy, centred in your emotions and clarity in the mind.

Samaya land was founded 1st January 1993 by Swami Prem Samaya, and over the years has evolved into a small established Ashram with core people taking care of it.

Swami Prem Samaya with Ma Deva Anudasi share their profound long life experience with full dedication to assist the young generation to move through their life in a more meaningful and fulfilled way.  Swami Prem Samaya and Ma Deva Anudasi have spent many years under the guidance of Osho Rajneesh and they are committed to continue his work.
